Mr. Pie,
I followed these instructions pretty closely.

It is much easier on a clk though. The only differences on a W208 (besides the square comand) are;
1. You do not need to take all the trim off. I didn't even need to pull the ashtray and shift cover off (but I did anyway, just following directions). All you have to do to get the radio out is put in the removal tool and it comes right out (make sure you have the code if you wan to put it back!)
2. When you take out the radio and storage space there is a plastic divider between the two Din spaces. I cut this with some really strong scissors then dremeled the rough edges.
3. When connecting the wires to the cut harness I just used shrink wrap. And the colors for the wires were different. (This is for a 2001 CLK430)
Black/White C1-->C2 pin 9 CANbus high (this is actually 2 wires, same color)
All black C2-->C2 pin 8 CANbus low
All Blue C4-->C2 pin 10 D2B wakeup
Red/Black C5-->C1 pin 6 CD changer +
All Brown C6-->C1 pin 5 CD changer -
4. No need to cut the Auxiliary harness (if going to install also) it just plugs into the new harness.
5. I used the GPS antenna supplied by the seller, so I skipped the whole GPS splitter part. I put the antenna on the dash corner, diver’s side, and hid the wire.
I got it from Ebay.de out of europe( After the auction I asked if I could be sent a 210 or 208 model). http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4576838116&rd=1&sspage name=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
(Translate it with google, thats what I did)
This is a CD based comand unit, however they do sell the mercedes TV module that has RCA plugs in it. so it has the potential to play DVD's. but stand alone, No DVD.
Yes the CD changer hooks right up to it, but I don't have one.
Oh, and those prices are list (my buddy works at a shop) but here are the net cost $30.00-->37.50, 25.00-->31.00, 8.00-->9.60, 6.60-->8.25

Now ... let me ask you what is that in your glove box in the last pic ?
Thanks!
It is my PSP (play station portable). I have a 1 gig card in it, with a ton of mp3's on it. My friends like it cause they can play a game or watch a movie on it with the sound coming out of the car stereo.

so you are utilizing the AUX input for the audio, correct? I think I see the plug in the side of the glove box.
