my warranty has expired and i am looking for a new provider. does anyone know of a good company with a bumper to bumper warranty? i found a company who will give me a 4 year 30,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty for 3,000.00 plus 100.00 deductables. Hopefully some of you know of one better. thanks! this is for a 2000 430
What a great post. I am only 7 months away from my warranty period being over, and am curious too. Every one I work with, say they have been sorry they spent the money on non-factory coverage. That their provider didn't want to pay for almost everything they ever needed. Read the fine print, buyer beware.
Is their one that is valid at an actual M-B Dealership, and that pays for bumper to bumper type coverage ?

RE: extended warranty
I'm not a big fan of those warranties for that reason. If you blow your trannie they'll point to MB or your driving habits and in the end youll pay out of pocket. Maybe there are some good ones but a friend who sells cars told me it's just another scam.

I bought mine from the dealership a month before the factory one expired. It's not a MB warranty but it's already shelled out $900 for a new climate control unit after a $50 deductible (one of the buttons was stuck). Paid $2650 for 5 years/60k miles and it covers everything except navigation and can be cancelled and refunded at a prorated rate.
There aren't too many extended warranty companies out there that cover AMG's but you can try warrantydirect.com or autowarrantybroker.com for quotes.
I bought one, Platinum, $2,400.00 for 60K miles, 0 deductable. already had A/C, both seat motors, gas gauge sensor, new key and Navigation replaced.... worth every penney..... let me know if anyone is interested, i can provide info. email me at bfracasse@cox.net, i live in Phoenix, AZ
