pulled out a rock that i thought was just stuck between the tread in my tire and it was actually stuck into the tire.. nice little hole.. tire is now fully flat.. can't wait to go tommorow and buy a new 250 dollar tire..

Can't you just get the tire plugged?

Actually the full cost may be around $1000

I fried my ignition during installation and she's at the dealer for repair. [:(]

I know you have had wheel trouble, but you didn't drive that rock through the tire to begin with.

Try to look at it like a disaster forced early, and under your control.

You wouldn't have wanted that rock coming out at highway speed, or in the middle of heavy traffic.

I had my last one repaired with a "boot", the internal patch with a plug attached that also fills the hole.

Uh, don't you hate it when you have to replace a tire and the other three are only halfway through their thread? Happened to me once and now I have 1 new tire and 3 that were not too new and not too old to be replaced. It messes up the alignment and future tire replacements.

ouch thrill $1000????...that's a sound system right there.. you just keep your car in the shop don't you ??..that sucks . i feel for you bro good luck , especially with the wife [;)][:p]
