Speaking of CLK55 AMG brakes, are your calipers rusted like my 2002 CLK55 cabriolet??
They look horrible. My car is in for service, still under warranty for another 7 months or 17K miles. The service tech mentioned asking about a warranty replacement set.
My calipers are like acid washed aluminum. They were all covered in brake dust, and I sprayed them with wheel cleaner and they cleaned right up. I am going to paint them when my car gets back from the shop. My tech told me my car should be quicker and ordered me new injectors, and a new valve body(?) for the tranny. He said it will be faster than when it was new.
