RE: ESP and rear tire air pressure: how much do you run ??
Did this happen at regular psi?
I usually run factory setting as indicated in my owner's manual. If you increase the tire pressure, you can get better gas mileage and less traction (straight line), but you will wear out the inside of your tires pretty quick, depending on your speed and treadwear rating.
RE: ESP and rear tire air pressure: how much do you run ??
I dropped back to 35 psi front, and 36 psi rear. Thanks for the info in my other post. The part that seems new, an wierd, the throttle shut down is also happening up around 5K rpm, sometimes with the ESP light, sometimes without. Only lasts for a second, less if I let of the pedal.
?????????????????
Needs to go in this week for maintanence anyway.

Traction on take off much better. The car still has throttle shut down issues, even at 60mph, merging onto the interstate, if the gas pedal is half way down. Just made appointment to tkae her in Thursday, of this week.
