i was in New Orleans on friday night... flew down there to pick up a 2000 Audi TT my girl bought from a guy who lived in Ocean Springs, MS, which is about 2 miles east of Biloxi, right on the Gulf... The poor guy lives only 500 yards from the Gulf... bet his home is GONE
good thing she got it literally hours before the storm, guess we rescued it!!!
i guess i can say i was able to party on the last good Friday the French Quarter will see for a while...
BTW, we left for the drive back to NJ @ 2PM on sat, just before the mandatory evac was issued... no traffic down I-10 to I-59
i will always remember this weekend....
one more thing, her sis was in NO with her husband, who are still sitting in the airport as we speak, they been there since sunday :(
