Ziebart for tints? - Benzworld.org

Somebody told me they did a good job on his Caddy for $180. Anyone have experience with them? Thanks. And what is the best # tint? Rear windows in my ML are real dark...That's what level I'm going for.

They do a good job generally....but it all depends on their tint guy. They are expensive too.

The only problem I had with them is putting tints on the front windows because in Illinois it's illegal....had to do some convincing.

The guy was cool. I left him my card and he charged it to the business with no tax. $140 for 4 windows, not bad. I said I'd send some people. He's in Midlothian.

I'm going with Solar Gaurd with the metal additive for $225. Warranty is for 10-12 years. I will probably have the car at least that long.

Thats what they put on mine. Ziebart gave me a written warranty for the life of the car[:)]. Be aware that they cannot do the rear windshield or it will interfere with the radio.
