Mine too. The motor is probably bad. I took it in to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty.

My seat will do everything except slide back & forth. It reclines, it lifts the cushion under your thighs and the headrest work.

Do you think this is a fuse? Is this fuse under the seat as stated in the post above or in a regular fuse box? I hear a motor sound for about a second. All other functions seem ok. The seat assist handle used to aid rear passengers, does nothing as well. It was the use of this handle that killed it, I believe.

Same night this happed my chrome (LM1 style) 18 rolled into in a pothole. It's all slashed up. Is there a such thing as chrome touch up paint? Depressing

man...i'm so tired of the same shit with my seats.
same frickin bs..my driver's seat got stuck all the way up to the wheel at the car wash...i finally got it working for a day or so and now it's up to the same thing again except for the seat is now reversed in the most rear position. thank God i'm tall enough to reach the pedals. My passenger seat motor was replaced by the dealer for the same shit and now they are saying the track assembly has to be replaced.

this kind of crap makes me miss my frickin 1990 honda accord which always worked. =)

i've gotten 2 quotes from $1000 to $2100...I'm gonna change the fuse because that's helped in the past.

Good luck...

RE: seat wont go forward or back help..

My driver's seat is making a groaning noise when I move
it fwd and bkwd.

One thing that I try to do is avoid sitting 100% on the
seat cushion when I am moving the seat, that way I do not put too much stress on the motor.
This is because the damn memory system never puts the
seat in the memory location I set it at. Weird!

Did any of you encounter a weird noise b4 the seat stops
working?

I'm wondering if it's possible to just anchor the seat
at a specific point on the track. If I have a passenger
they just have to get out from the passenger side.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this or are mechanically familiar with the seat system?

RE: seat wont go forward or back help..

the groaning noise is the same thing that is happening to my passenger seat...i was told that
the track assembly needs to be replaced --- supposedly the motors are fine, i believe there are 3 or 4 motors for the seat or at least that's what i was told.

anyway, it's very embarrasing to have a client or friend sit in your car and you have to adjust it and it's making that grinding noise.

i'm trying to find a seat track assembly to replace it and a whole new set up for my driver's seat.

nothing else seems to have solved the problem.
