BRABUS). High performance made by BRABUS is now also available for the new C 63 AMG. The BRABUS B63 S performance kit adds a whopping 73 hp (72 bhp) / 53.7 kW to the rated power output of the 6.2-liter V8 engine, and propels the car to a new top speed of 315 km/h (197 mph). In addition, BRABUS offers a wide range of exclusive accessories from a limited-slip rear differential to custom-tailored 19-inch wheels complete with corresponding high-performance tires, from a height-adjustable coil-over suspension and generously dimensioned high-performance brakes to exclusive interior options.
The BRABUS engine specialists have developed the B63 S performance kit specifically for the fast-revving engine of the Mercedes C 63 AMG. It consists of free-flow high-performance metal catalysts, sport air filters and newly programmed engine electronics with custom mapping for ignition and injection. Together these components result in an increase in power output from 457 hp (450 bhp) / 336 kW to 530 hp (523 bhp) / 390 kW. Peak torque grows from 600 Nm to 650 Nm (442 to 479 lb-ft).
Also part of the conversion is the BRABUS Vmax unit, available in two versions for top speeds of 300 or 315 km/h (188 or 197 mph). Acceleration performance also improves with the added power: The sprint from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) is shortened from 4.5 to 4.1 seconds; 200 km/h (124 mph) is reached after 13.1 seconds, down from 14.5 seconds for the production car.
