In May of this year i bought a 2010 c300 (CPO) from Ray Catena in Edison NJ.I purchased the car with 11k miles. Salesman stated that all initial service had been performed (10K service) Now my car as of this morning has a little over 18k miles and is telling me that service b is due?? What gives?? I thought that the next service wasnt due until 20k. Reading the maintenance manual I see that the majority of the items are a mere inspection checklist for the 20K service. Also, I dont knowif this matters but, it turns out my car was a service loaner. Although the salesman did not tell me this , nor did I ask now im wondering if they even bothered to do the 10k service. I think I will reset the service reminder, have the oil and filter changed and rotate the tires. My question is.....Does any of the above sound odd, and should I have the basic oil and filter change done now or wait till the 20k mark.Oh yeah, funny thing how I found out it was a loaner... morning dew ghosting of the Ray Catena Courtesy Vehicle sticker on the rear window. If i was informed of this I probably would have purchased the C300 anyway as the car is immaculate but I guess I would have liked the ssalesman to have been honest, mind you the week before I purchased a 2011 GLK350 for the wife (guessing thats a loaner also) so much for the paper the salesman signs during the purchase process stating how Ray Catena owes you great and honest service. well, thats my 2 cents

It's 20K or 2 years, whichever comes first. Quite possibly that it's been a year since the A service was done. Check the record, when it was done.
