I'm from puerto rico as you know we are part of the US
I sold the original 18" stock wheels, then I had the 1st set you see here, brabus monoblock IV originals, then switched out to brabus original monoblock III.. And did not like them ( will get some pictures up tomorrow , sice I have em in my cell and they only lasted 3 days), then I got a set of vozzen wheels that lasted a week, matte black with red lip and it gave it a ricer type of look, and then sold them out and got a set of sl63amg replicas... (the ones that are charcoal in the pics)
Mars red is a very bright color! I know!, I was gonna get a black c with saks but a technician took it a saturday and I went to buy the car next monday in december 2007.. Bad luck!, but then I saw that red benz with black roof getting his white stickers off ready for a wax and... whoa! Love @ first sight.. It really screamed for me, and it was the 1st red c class benz sold by that dealer... it had everything I wanted, navi/pano/18"amg's... I fell in love with it, and I just want to take it close to the car I imagined that day.. Red and black roof with matte black grille and matte black wheels..
Sorry I made you sleep reading this! Haha I'm just happy I get the chance to be in this forum and share what I think is a rare commodity out here, a benz tuning community
AAHHHH! how did you get your grill matte black? everywhere i go people say paint will chip it and layovers are too difficult/expensive. Any suggestions?

Black primer strip the chrome and touch up when you get chips.

In my experience, I separated the chrome inserts from the actual grill... the grill was sanded with 400, then 1 black primer base and 2 coats of flat black enamel.. In the automotive paint industry this color is called "bumper spray" or "flat black" it's your choice which tone of black you want.. Then the chrome strips and trim get's tricky... 2 coats of BLACK primer base. 2-3 coats of flat black AND LET iT SiT oVeRNIGHT... *imPoRTANT!!* .. Then enjoy!..
Had a friend with a fresh painted grille on his e350 and was so enthused ... he put it on the same night he painted it... at morning it was like a clear night.. Black grille and a bunch of chrome dots.. Lol
