Motive Products 1708 - Motive Products Power Extractors – SummitRacing.com

I just used mine for the first time. It worked awesome and was the easiest oil change I've ever done.

It doesn't move the oil real fast and I did have to pump it a few times (don't go over 15" of vacume) but no big deal.
And, it sucked 8.5 quarts out so I would say it got pretty much all of it.

MityVac 7201 in one that is used by many Benz owners but I do like the one mentioned above.

I actually got the mityvac unit and changed the oil the other day. The vac was difficult to get going and would constantly stop. I suppose you have to have the expandable rubber plug in the unit but the manual makes no mention of this. I had to keep pumping every so often to keep it flowing - maybe I was doing something wrong? The local Advanced Auto had Mobil 0W-40 and a Puralotor filter in stock that is marked - "Mann Filter" made in Germany.

Other than that the oil was simple to change with all work on top. The plastic lines on the mityvac - don't know what to do with them and they have oil still in them - coiled them up and just hung them in the garage - do you have to clean the unit out or will it be OK with the old oil remaining (what's left of it)?
