C300 fuse diagram

The owner's manual does not have a fuse diagram and the dealer said they can't get me a copy. I've searched the internet as well as this site and can't find any info. Does anyone have access to the fuse diagram for a 2008 C300? Thanks.

I do, but so should you. You should find the fuse diagram from one of the fuse boxes or from the tool box.

If you don't, give us a good explanation and we'll try to help you get another one.

I've checked the fuse box against the driver side firewall under the hood, the removable panel to the left of the steering wheel, and the fuse panel in the right side of the trunk - no fuse diagrams anywhere. I also checked through all the manuals again with no luck. I called the dealer again and they said MB no longer provides fuse diagrams with the new C300 and I would have to bring it to the service department. Am I missing something?

Go into your trunk, open the tool kit where the jack is and you should find the fuse allocation table. Stupid place for it, it belongs in the manual.

"A Brabus Maybach," he said, as she turned her head in time to see him give the wheel a little pat. "The firm of Brabus extensively tweaks the product of Maybach, to produce one of these."

"Darth my ride?"

I have not looked at the fuse diagram in the car but is it to some extent personalised to the car? At least the generic diagrams at workshop documents have a huge amount of obsolete info for any particular car. If this was the case, then the car manual is not ideal. On the other hand, the manual is anyway for some specific market, a US manual would not need to cover Japanese fuse options. For some reason this is the way it has always been (except for the location being at a fuse box instead of the tool box).

I just got done dealing with this. If it's the cigarette lighter fuse you're looking for, it's in the fuse compartment in the trunk. It is fuse 71 (I believe) which is a blue (15 amp) fuse. Hope that helps.

Sounds strange if the fuse diagram was completely omitted, there are fuses that the owner is supposed to take care of (like the cigarette lighter fuse).

It depends a bit on the car but the fuse diagram should come with on of the part numbers A2045841481, A2045844881, A2045846281. If a US dealer cannot order it, perhaps some other source should be considered.
