We should have a multi MB forum buy of one. Everyone chip in for it then one person buys it. After it is installed send it to the next person on the list untill everyone is updated.

Depends on the price of the upgrade. I mean if they are selling the DVD upgrade for US$ 150-200, its probably not worth it, unless you have the nav on ur LCD display in MB.
I have a 2008 C-300 with the navigation. Its ok, but inferior to the commercial ones available. So you might be better off buying those ones (which also can be more easily and possibly less expensively upgraded).
Well thats the hard part. My hobby is collecting watches and one of the fora I frequent we do a passaround. Basically everyone chips in a set amount and a watch is purchased and it makes the rounds of all the members once done a drawing is held and the winner keeps the watch. they have done a few of these with no problems but we are a very tight group with very few newbies.
Someone buy it, even if we all chip in.. Rip an ISO of it, and seed it on BitTorrent. Simple. Upload to IsoHunt so forum isn't responsible for the hosting.

Its an HardDrive based system. It was just over a 2 hour process to update from the DVD to the HD in the car. After that I immediately noticed (on my next few drives) more POIs and more details in the roads. On the DVD package I had it lists all the Major updates by either city or county. Even though my area did not have any Major updates I noticed more detail. After the update the DVD is no longer needed.
