Navigation Update DVD worth it?

received the update DVD, say it will take 2hrs to update. Will check before and after version number in Eng menu. Someone on the list may already have same versions as DVD. 300yoz next.

Isn't there a quick way to determine the version since this update should add audio fadeout vs. the old version? If you don't have the audio fadeout you have an old map version.

Nav DVD updated. this DVD is 07 2nd quarter release. See before and after DB info. If your car has 07Q2 release, this DVD will not update. It took 2 hrs, leave the key in 1st position so COMAND stay on. It does not update COMAND, only Nav restart after update. I cant find audio fade option after update. Only change I can see is in eng menu Nav database info. Thanks loofcar for DVD. I will send with priority mail to 300yoz tomorrow.
