Here's the story. I went into a local MB dealership about a month ago, test drove a 2008 C300 sport and fell in love with it. After tracking down my car, I put down a $1000 deposit for a 2008 4-matic C300 sport with premium package I and ipod adapter. I agreed to 38k out the door which includes 6% tax/title/tags. Was this a good deal? I was out of town and just got home and have to go in to fill out a credit form to actually purchase the car. Any advice?? Can I renegotiate since I technically didn't purchase the car yet? Should I try to upgrade in options and get a better deal? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I thought they were doing a $1000 off promo deal right now to clear out 08s. Might want to bring that up. And also say you're a Costco member and see if you can get it cheaper.
