transmission trouble
So my benz a C300 has 13200 miles and the trany is already giving me problems. From 1st to 2nd gear there is a big power drop off to the point where a passenger goes WTF is that? I took in and they said they cant figure it out and they may have to rplace to whole trany! and what am I left with a rental crown victoria paid for by mercedes!!! AHHHHHH

They ran out of those mediocre 07 C230's for loaners.

In my dealership, you'll get a B Class as a loaner

I have been manually shifting a lot lately with my new C350. Can I drop a gear too low and hurt the engine as in a manual tranny?

No, the auto tranny has safeguards against overrevving.

Can't compare though the driving enjoyment from the C-Class versus that of a B-Class
