Lets say i decide to run the eyelids and the foglights at night (assuming I can see fine), is it illegal in California? It just looks so good without the headlights on....any ideas?
you turn the headlight nob all the way (CLOCKWISE) to the 2nd to last position and pull it towards you. Not too much or the yellow light will come on below it which means the rear-foglights are on.
This will give you the eyelid + foglights with no actual headlights.
Is this legal or not? Will a cop pull me over? Will they notice? Will they know?

I know each state has its own laws, but I would say that it woudl be illegal after dark to operate any vehicle on the road way without the headlights on... You may be able to get by on the excuss "officer, I thought the headlights were on", but then again I have seen someone get a ticket for operating a vehicle w/o headlights after dark...

Illegal or not, the post suggests compromising your own safety by not lighting the path properly. Car manufacturers have introduced HID and adaptive fogs just to improve visibility and here comes somebody not wanting to turn on the headlamps...
hey big buy, I drive in the streets of LA where its bright enough already to drive without headlights. Oh, and is it safe for pedestrians? Yes it is because the foglights and eyelids are bright enough to be seen from a mile away.

well, another thing is I'm not sure if the foglights or eyelids will work in terms of shining off reflectors. People riding bikes and stuff are already hard enough to see at night.
