I live in California and i want to lease a C300. You guys know any good dealerships?? i want my monthly paymnets to be $400 or under, 12k a year for the miles and for 36 months i'm putting 3-4k down. It could be the base line model.

You really need to understand leasing....stop focusing on the monthly payment...focus on the total cost per month. A $400 per month lease with $3600 down is almost exactly the same as spreading that $3600 over the 36 months so it's an extra $100 a money and your real cost is $500 a month. Why give the dealer that extra $100 a month up front? Don't put money down on a lease...it's a bad idea both financially and from a risk standpoint if you total your car.

Your best bet would be to get an 08 C now..with the 09's coming in July, MB has a special lease deal on the 08's. focus on the cost to buy the car outright (which you will then lease)...this should be invoice or invoice plus a few hundred dollars at most. The first payment should only be the first months payment plus registration fees, plus any required tax. It should NOT include dealer administrative fees, loan origination fees or anything else.

The special MB C lease is shown with a big down payment, but they will give you exactly the same money factor and residual on a no money down lease...you don't have to pay all that money up front and you shouldn't.
