For me I find satellite radio to be a blessing and especially so on long trips. I live in the states and had the six months for free. I love the fact that I get commercial free music, CNBC, and sports.
Plus, I've heard music you would never hear on terrestrial radio which is controlled by the FCC with too many commercials, time checks, useless traffic reports, and the same 10 songs all day. Too generic for me.
sirius is way better than reg radio and xm. xm is garbage. iv had both. and sirius comes 6mo free with the purchase of a merc. at least it did with mine.
