Everyone needs to remember that our car monitors the power drawn by the lights in order to tell you which ones are burned out. When you switch from an incandescent bulb to an LED, the power draw is different, and if the system is anything like the W203, it will tell you your rear right and left signal lights are out.

I wanted to put the LED taillights in and they gave me a 220 per light price, which i guess is dealer price. and they said they can do it there.

Hey, can you give me the contact # of the person who I can speak to about this because I was there the other day and they didn't know what I was talking about. I would appreciate it, if you can provide me with the contact name & #.

Also did you face any specification problem when changing to LED's?

ooo i dont know a name or number, just the guy there. i havent done it yet, but he said it shouldnt be a problem. the guy said there were parts orders for the tails with or without the LEDs and to just order two with the LED. or try saying something like Premium 2 package taillights. not sure, but i was at the parts department of helms, the one off station road and utopia pkwy. hope that helps a bit

what you want to start with is
1. check out sylvania chart for your vehicle
OSRAM SYLVANIA - Replacement Guide - Start
2. then, may be go to your MB dealer to verify those numbers.
3. according to those numbers buy LED's and make sure you buy plenty of load resistors(so your vehicle computer will not freak out thinking that you have blown lights)
4. depends of what kind LEDs you buy, your tail lights may be even twice brighter then stock led's

An auto shop in Long Island has already ordered and received my LED's and will install them early next week. Also they will program the new LED taillights!

Yeah i have a well known shop that does al my work down here in socal. There called creative autoworks.. We tried installing some LEDs in my eyelids and no mater how many resistors we used and no matter how big the resistors voltage draw was we could not get that warning light to turn off.. I love the look of LEDs but cant use get them to work properly so I had to go with peanut bulbs which look great..
