Just a bought a c300 sport and its great! I had a 2005 TL which was nice also but the 300 blows it away on options and appearance, definitely get the navigation or your missing out!
I dont care if they chop 10K off the new IS. The extreme case of cramped leg/seating room in the back, makes this car impossible to buyfor me. I am sure this is the case for many other people who are in the market for a 4 door entry level luxry sedan. If I was in the market for a coupe. I'd consider the IS.
But lexus needs to stop portraying this car as a 5 seater when it is 2 and half.

No No, I meant the IS. I tried one and while I was talking with the lexus salesguy in the forecourt, the keys were handed over for delivery to 2 female customers.

For day to day driving, I think you will find the C300 just has a better combination of all the things you are looking for. It is a smooth driver and it has personality. The 300 engine may never win too many races, but it does its job well with plenty of low end torque, and gives you effortless power when you really need it. Interior and exterior are probably best in class.
If you really are hung up on driving dynamics, then it might not be a bad idea to stick with the 3er; But give the C a chance, I think you won't regret it.
+1 I think the IS is a nice car but I feel cramped in it as a driver. Of the three, the C to me feels the most spacious.
