I wish I had the tex my '87 & '84's had: No concerns about anything damaging it. If they had made American cars with vinyl tops made from MB tex they would all be in perfect condition today: is nasa listening to my comments as the shuttle tiles could be tex?
I used to sell Toyota's: plenty of profitable Prius' @ msrp. More than a few earthy folks thought it just as well to not cover your seats with dead animal hyde.

I have MB tex in my 380se and it's from 1985, the seats aren't bad! I hope these pictures will convince you to go with MB TEX

Yep, I've seen the real leather in a S-class of that vintage and it looked much worse. Looks like the MB-tex holds up better with age.

MBTex has been awesome in the new C. I am glad I went with the sales guy who advised us not to waste extra money on the leather!!!
