rear wheels have more brake dust?
guys, i have noticed that my rear wheels get significantly more brake dust on it than my front wheels. why is this?
one theory i was pondering is that the front brake pads might be made from a different/superior material?
any insights?

I notice that as well. Every car I have owned, the fronts always show more dust.
No idea.

Same with me. I noticed this oddity right away.
My theory, the front are cross-drilled, the rears are not.
This must have something to do with this counter-intuitive phenomenon.

if the drilled rotors are the explanation, sign me up for rear drilled too! I hate the brake dust.
