Can't Transfer my phone list Via Bluetooth!!

Hi Guys,,,, Can anyone plz help me out with this!!
Everything is working fine until it comes to transferring my contacts from my mobile phone (Nokia N93i) to the car via bluetooth.

As soon as i atempt to do so by clicking receive contacts from the car menu... it disconnects from the mobile and my phone displays error while converting contacts to business cards,,, I tried it with 2 different phone models and its still there (other phone is nokia 9300i)

Any ideas?? does it have anything to do with the thumbnails attached to some of my contacts?? or Whether contacts are stored on phone memory or memory card (just speculations (

plz help

you have to send the contacts via blue tooth, while your car is in recieve mode..it doesnt automatically "take them" from your phone, you have to be able to "send them via bluetooth" from your phone ..not familiar with the Nokia, so cant help you with how you "send" them..

Bluetooth Transfers

Is the transfer function only for a single phone book entry at a time?

This is the only way I have been able to transfer contacts and phone numbers. It would be nice if I could transfer the entire phone book at once.

I have the Nokia E62 phone.

Thanks

BlackBerry Curve

I have the 8310 and upon picking up my car, my salesguy actually paired my phone and transfered all 300 contacts for me within 5 mins (all at one time and not one by one). The trick is that after pairing your phone, you need to tell the COMMAND to prepare for contacts in the Phone section before you actually go to the phone to send the contacts. Also, do ensure that your phone is paired to "MB Bluetooth".

Hope this helps!

I figured out how to transfer a group of numbers from the Nokia E62.

It requires setting up a group of numbers, 'marking' all the entries of the group, and then sending via bluetooth to the MB.

The operation is very specific to the phone commands and the capability to mark and send all the entries.

Of course the MB has to be in receive mode. It took about a minute to do 100 entries.

I was able to transfer the entire book from my Sony Ericsson w300i. However, I could only do one at a time from my wife's Motorola RAZR.

In my wife's 07 E350 we can get the phone (8310 on AT&T) to work with incoming and outgoing calls, but when we attempt to get the phone list to transfer, the car says loading and just hangs there, and, eventually, the phone says transfer failed. AWS is useless as they say that "the software version is not compatible". I'm taking it to the dealer soon. Of course, when you buy the phone, you can't specify the software version. We switched from the treos to blackberry because everybody says they work and are supported, but once again...everyone points fingers.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
