Connecting the Ipod
Guys, I have an aux input in my glove box..However, when i connect my ipod to it,,, i get nothing but audio... I cant the ipod menu on the screen (No navigation)
can anyone plzz specify the king of cable i need to perform this... the one i am using,, connect to the aux at one end and instead of the ipod headphone at the other end.... help will be so much apprec.

I believe you need the iPod adapter installed into your car. The aux input will give you sound (like you are having) but nothing more. Contact your dealer for the ipod kits they have that they can install.
Yeah...sounds like you don't have the iPod adapter installed. When that's installed what you get is a cable with a connector that attaches to the iPod's docking station jack, not the earphone jack. There is a separate manual for it that you get when it's installed, that shows you how to get at the iPod menus from the steering wheel controls.

Unless you have the MB Ipod package you won't get the menu on your screen.
You may also find that the audio is not loud enough. The audio problem is corrected by purchasing a Belkin power cord that also has a small amp built into it. this will boost the audio signal to an acceptable (for most people) level.
