Is this a good price, C300?

Did i get taken at this price for a C300 w/P2 package?

They said they could only take off $500 because its new and in limited supply. They had no C300 on the lot.If i wanted I could wait 3 months for the order from germany but instead they found one in California being shipped in from the port.

Car w/ P2 minus the $500: $35,665
Tax: $2978
Doc fee: $185
Title and Registration: $537
Total:$39,365

that price is pretty good. I went to a few dealerships here in nyc and the most they took of the price was $700. if they getting the car from california, are you paying the shipping as well.

I'm not paying the shipping from california to arizona. She said they will not add any fee like car prep or extra shipping. I only have to pay the doc fee of $185.

I got a c 300 luxury, P2/Multimedia, metallic paint for 38,800.
In Chicago land...
I know the sales guy, and I am sure they made $$ on it, but, as everyone will tell you, this is a super hot car, in hot demand, with limited supply...
And, as I have told the 100's of people who have asked me what a good price for ANY car is, I can only say that the best price is the one that YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT PAYING!!!
You'll never buy ANY car at cost, so you have to always remember that car dealers are in business to make money; just decide how much you are willing to let them make on you, and find a dealer that will go along with that.

Hi,
If you are a member of Costco you can get the c 300 for $1000 over invoice at a partcipating dealer. If you call Costco, they can let you know the participating dealer in your area. I went to another dealer that was not a participating costco dealer and they were able to match the price of $1000 over invoice. Before mentioning the costco discount, the dealer only was taking $500 off the MSRP. I am picking mine up today.

sure, if you can find a dealer that has the exact car you want, in stock, then getting it through the Costco program is a good thing!
