Just watched the video. I was scared for your paint. I just thought about another good debadging example. Removing dealer logos and emblems, people do that simply to clean up the look of their trunks.
Good job on that, it looks classy/sporty with the star and the chrome lid handle.
yeah, the person that lives right next to me owns 2 g35s he debadged everything on the back. it was realllly smooth and clean but i dont know if i would do that to my benz.
up2 now the paint is fine, no problems...

looks pretty easy to do.......however i got mine debadged from the dealership before taking delivery of it ...........and i think it looks pretty cool..
Nice video. I started with the 0, so I had a short lived C32, 'till I finished. I used a plastic bondo wedge / scraper.
Be advised some of those heat guns have elements that will melt paint, so be careful. Also, adhesives have decreased properties at lower temperatures and greater hold at elevated temperatures, so ice may be more useful.
