C350 Sport vs. C300 4Matic Sport vs. Acura TL TypeS
I am thinking about buying a (2008) car for my girlfriend. I am pulling my hair between the 3 choices listing above. I know this is the MB forum but I think the TL Type S is a pretty nice car. The C is probably more exclusive on the road but TL has more features (and a bit cheaper). There are few big snows a year. Would 4Matic worth it? TIA.
The TypeS is a sweet ride and is a little more muscle in terms of body stance. On the other hand, she will be pushing a Benz. I saw a young lady pushing the new C-class and it worked out good. I dont see many women driving the TypeS so I am not sure how appealing it is to here, but my lady friend has a TL aswell and loves it alot. The TypeS is very very fast and from what I know has great traction, I would take it on a spin and then emidiatly hop in a C and take that for a spin. My guess is between the 2 you'd might go for the TypeS, good luck. Oh let me add, I like the older body style C class 100% much better, but thats just me...

Had to make this decision myself. I decided for the C350 fully loaded. I currently have a 2006 TSX w/ NAVI and the car is pretty sweet! It does everything right! The TL Type-S is a hell of a car, and unless your girl is a driver, I don't think that she will do the car justice! But if she's into performance, then the TL-S will take her for the ride of her life!
Thanks to each of you guys ... my co-worker actually also metioned about the old body style of the Acura vs. the new C class. It was a good point. Another good point is that she is not a "driver" so I think I will go for the C class now. It's now the decision between 4Matic and RWD. All of my cars are RWD's and I had a tough time last winter.
If you live where I think you do I'd get the 4matic. She'll feel safer on roads that are rain soaked not to mention additional confidence and ability with ice or snow.
