After suffering poor hard acceleration on my 2001 C240 for almost two years, I finally had to act when my initial acceleration dropped significantly (like to almost zero).
Search of the forum brought up the MAP sensor problem. Got the Bosch MAP off Amazon for a good price - huge difference!
Idle and acceleration back to 100% after I changed plug wires and had a local german repair shop remove the many accumulated error codes.
Paid $115 for plug wire set from onlinewholesaleparts.com, thought I was going to get some Chinese knockoff - but was surprised to get a set of Beru plug wires with all the correct MBZ part numbers and stamps!
