| Vibration Between 40-50mph My ride is c240 2002, 16" stock rims, 205 fronts, 225 rears, 60K miles, im experiencing a vibration at speed 40-50mph, below this speed the car goes smooth, 45mph is the worst and 50mph and up kind of fade away, i have search this forum, but there is real clear answer or solution. I have already take the wheels to the shop , to see i have a bent wheel, all were fine . Wheels have being balanced several times at different shops, i have rotated tires an wheels, with no effect on the feel of the vibration. Have done inspection of bushings and arms for wear componets but every looks neat. No play in the steering wheel. No crashes or accidents. I do need to correct camber according to the aligment experts, but thats not a reason for the resonance vibration. From reading the forums i gona try to replace the rear brake discs, this is the option that makes more sense to me, and the fact that they have never being replaced. Does any one have solved a similar situation?. I dont wanna waste money changing things that are ok.... just to see .. if the vibration goes away.... |
