My 02 C32 began leaking transmission fluid about a month ago at 60k miles. I put the car up on ramps and it appeared to be leaking from the main tranmission pan seal. I took it into the dealer expecting to pay like 400.00 to have the seal replaced and fluid changed etc. It turned out to be the 13 pin connector that runs through the front of the transmission just above the main pan, located just behind the engine. It's apparently a sensor that controls the shifting of the transmission (what the dealer said?)The dealer told me that this was very common. It was replaced, added one quart of trans fluid, also detailed the hell out of my car and cost me $150.00. That was a great experience, that trip to the stealership
Just wanted to post this incase any of you run into this problem. I did some looking around and didn't see any other posts about this issue. I almost began tackling the trans seal myself, i'm sure glad I didn't...
