Hi everyone. I was just driving around yesterday with the radio off (GASP!) and when I would go over bumps I would hear was SOUNDED like the sunroof area sqeaking a little bit. I just had the clear plastic window replaced the other day because the place that tinted my windows scratched it (MB dealership replaced it) and ever since then it's been squeaking, I THINK. Has anyone ever heard this sqeaking noise at all? It's not serious at all, but it's the little things that annoy me [:D]

I had the same problem with my C230K. With mine it only seemed to happen when the roof was wet, if I let the car dry for a day or two in the hot sun, the noise would go away. Took the car in, they pulled the roof and lubed it...the squeak was gone. Now about 2 months later, I have a really funky sounding grinding noise when I open the roof for a day or two after it rains. Again after it dries out, it seems to be fine.

Ooo that's interesting. I took a test drive in a C230K the day after it had rained, and I noticed the same thing. It sounded okay today. It's just a little nuissance, but it's all good, nothing terrible.
