Help Identify my coupe engine! - Benzworld.org

I have a three week old c200k coupe. It was in the MB showroom (cancelled order). I just loved it and the colour! (sunstone orange) The dealer said it was a 2 litre engine. However, something has been bugging me. Some say that my engine is the new 1.8L and in fact MB UK say that all coupes built since May 02 have the new engine.

I found this link to a 230, which states that the engine is the new 1.8. If you have the original c200k with 2 litre engine. Does the engine look DIFFERENT to the engine shots in this link? My engine looks the same as this!??

Thanks. I have since been able to identify the engine by looking at the engine numbers quoted in the MB price list. The siz digit numbers under engine technical specification are reflected in the first six numbers of the VIN For example:

C200 K (1998cc engine) 203745
C200 K (1798cc engine) 203742 (My VIN starts WDB203742...
