Re: kompressor kit from Carlsson

This one I will follow closely. I'm thinking of the same thing. I have a C200K.

Carlsson ??

Carlsson won't sell those kits in the U.S. so I've not heard of anyone on these forums do that kit and I've been following these pulley kits for a year. From what I understand, it's a blue ring that is screwed to the factory pulley from behind and they include a filter and another pulley. I just don't like modified factory pulleys, it looks cheap and has the potential to come off and cause a lot of damage. Some say it's good because it preserves the harmonic balancer ring that is pressed on the factory pulley but I don't buy it because that balancer was tuned to a certain harmonic and adding a 1 kilo ring is going to throw that off anyway. I would recommend the Kleemann or ASP billet alloy pulleys. They are complete new pulley and weigh half what factory/pulley ring combinations weight yielding an impressive additional 8 whp. Also because they don't have to buy a $300 factory pulley to start with they are more affordable ranging in price from $350 to $899. With the dollar trading below the Euro for the first time ever, these U.S. products would represent a bargain.<br> <br> I posted my dyno on this forum, just scroll down to see it. I've gotten huge increases in performance with my ASP pulley.
