Evosport did the dyno and I pretty much got what I expected. This was done with no air filter, everything else stock, 16' wheels and stock exhaust. Temperature was 24c, dew point 16c, barometric pressure 29.97 (based on OC Airport, 10 miles south)
I'm a little naive to all this. can you explain what a Pulley is and what it does. how much HP does it increase. How much does it cost installed. i have 2001 C240 169 Hp....how much can I improve my HP?
Stan, this pulley won't do a thing for your 240. It is used on the CL203 C230k's and 2000 and newer SLK230's. It increases the boost produced by the supercharger from about .5 bar to about .8 bar Horsepower increase in 29 hp at the rear wheels. Torque is up 38.5 ft-lbs.
Sorry, I wish there were inexpensive performance goodies for the C240.
You can check with Renntech, Kleemann, Upsolute, Wetteraur and Brabus but be prepared to write a check for serious money. Nothing for $350, that's for sure. They have mods that run upwards of 10-15K (ouch). That's one reason I got the coupe, knowing that I can increase the boost on the supercharger for cheap since it was already being done on SLKs and C230K sedans.
