TV option: any idea how to enable TV while the car is in motion??...... - Benzworld.org

Any of you guys know of how this setting can be changed?.... Currently Mercedes Australia told me that the TV won't be working if the car is moving faster than 5 kph, this is set by the factory and Mercedes Australia told me that they can't change the setup cos its Australian regulation. 
 
Is there any other way that I change the setting so that other people in the car can watch TV while I'm driving??, or can you suggest who can do it in Australia (Sydney)?...

i have an alpine headunit with monitor in my c class and they installed a bypass switch which overrides that ..... i dont really know about the mercedes tv unit but its worth a shot....

You have to find another MB workshop who are willing to make it with their Star Diagnosis. There is no other way. You can try to convince them to do it by signing them a discharge of responsibility so that they won't be in trouble if anything happens because you were watching TV and driving at the same time.
