| Re: MBZ COMAND my son's C320 has the COMAND system, yes you can see the navigation directions in the gauge cluster, it can be turned off to another screen, like miles, etc. The screen can be turned off, and you will still get guidence in the gauge cluster, main display is nice and clean, and when it gets dark outside, the display colors change to more of a darker mood, but you can change that back to the day 'yellow'. The street names are displayed, problem is, sometimes new streets arent updated, thus, you have to keep updating your discs if you wish to. Great thing about COMAND is the phone option, and also it lists restaurants and other things, and it gives you the address and phone number. i love the COMAND! Wish it was DVD based though. Maybe sometime in the future MB will make their navi systems DVD based. |
