Has anyone figured out how to make the aftermarket HID retrofit kits work properly?
I've read a few post to bring it in to the dealership and reprogram the cpu. Others say dealers don't know about it. How do I stop the flickering of lights? If i turn on the lights and wait a few seconds, the cpu will read the HID's, but it is a hassle and I want to get it right. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
you need your dealer's help. i upgraded mine through an aftermarket shop & experienced the same frustration as you - till the dealer hooked up the computer & tweaked the system
There's an AAM option that the dealer has to change. They have to hook up the MB comput...
There's an AAM option that the dealer has to change. They have to hook up the MB computer and select "xenons present" to make the xenon lights function properly.
