Possible Group Buy on Factory Motorola Cell Phones
I'm looking for others that may be interested in joining a 'Group Buy' for the Mercedes Factory Motorola Cell Phone / Voice Recognition Module and Phone install kit. To qualify you must have a late model Mercedes that is Pre-Wired for this option. As of now the cell phone is the Mercedes branded Motorola Time Port (CDMA 800A/800D and 1900 PCS). The V6 phones (For 2002 and later models) are not out yet, so at this time I'm only looking at the Time Port.<br>

The kit includes all necessary parts for the installation and are the same parts that you would get if you went to your dealer and bought them, only for less. Installation instructions are included, or you can opt for your dealer to install them of course at an extra change.<br>

COMAND equipped vehicles must have minor re-programming done by the dealer via their STAR diagnosis computer after the install to function correctly. Contact your dealer for a price quote on this if your vehicle is COAMND equipped. Non-COMAND equipped vehicles do not need any re-programming. <br>

I am awaiting a group buy price from the retailer (Autoworks Express in California - http://autowerksexpress.com/). To constitute a group buy, at least 5 of us have to be interested. The more interested at time of purchase the lower of a price we can obtain.<br>
