does anyone know if you can change the navagation software to the 3d version other car manufatures are using? also does anyone know if the units actually play video cds
I suppose you are talking about COMAND navigation software.<br> <br> The navigation software is the same as for the new Blaupunkt navigation system. But it is not compatible to any other vendors systems.<br> <br> Neither the built in CD nor the CD changer play video CDs or DVDs. To play DVDs (in fact any video input) you require the TV module - and that, as far as I know, is only available in Europe.<br>
