Hi, 
 
i am looking to trade my 2001 CL Type S for a c320 in Toronto Canada. 
 
any tips on buying a benz? 
 
can you negociate prices on Benz. 
 
so far, i was quoted by 2 MB dealers. 
 
c320 CAN$50600 
Tectite Grey Metallic CAN$875 
CD Changer (dealer installed) CAN$750 
Heated Front Seats CAN$710 
PDI+feight, air tax, fuel tax CAN$1370 
 
total: CAN$54305 + 15%tax = CAN$62450.75 
 
do i need to pay tax on PDI+feight, air tax, fuel tax? And is CAN$1370 the right number in toronto canada for PDI+feight, air tax, fuel tax?

since 98 MB does not negotiate on price. everyone pays msrp. i don't know whether this changes given the current economy. your quote is msrp. dealer can shave a few hundred bucks from the cd changer which is a dealer option. pdi is also msrp. sales may cut some on msrp but don't expect much. at least it is transparent and you won't end up paying more than anyone else. assuming no negotiation on price, your main criteria is customer service and buying exp. some sales give lip service of a quick delivery, and then give preference to return customers and first time buyers end up waiting. there are those who wait over 10 months and finally got a car a car not taken up by another customer. obviously it is not to his specs but he has waited so long he'll take anything on the table. i got mine in 4 months which is reasonable. go shop around and talk to sales.

Hi guys, finally able to trade the cl type s for 33000. try to push for 34000 but no luck so i sattle for 33000. i got the 2002 C320 Orion blue metallic/Ask leather insert interior, with cd changer and bose sound system. 53355+1370(Pre-delivery charges)+15%tax=62933.75 with the trade in, i need to borrow about 25000. car will be available this week. Yeah... no roof... and heated seat! those are the 2 options i really want but the car is a cancellation(guessing) so i can't add any of those options. -2001CLTypeS
