Porterfield R4-S low dust pads are for street and light competition use. Temperature maximum 1,100 degrees F, Friction coefficient .4
Most OEM pads have a maximum heat range of 500-700 degrees, and a friction coefficient between .2 and .3 They are rotor friendly, and produce very little dust. For availability and price information please E-Mail Jerry at info@MyRoadster.Net with Model Year and description of your car. Read more at my website about Porterfield http://www.**********.Net
Love your banner ad, now if it only worked when clicked.
In case you are wondering why you get no hits on your website, I get 'You are not authorized to view this page' when I clicked your banner ad. I have Win98 and use IE 5.0 if that helps in your debugging.
This is the response when I asked Porterfield if they make a pad for the 2002 C-Coupe. Also I volunteered to let them use my car for measuring, testing or whatever and they declined. Doesn't look like we're their target market. Do any of you have another great dust free pad or cool looking dust shield with fake bremo calipers imprinted on them?

From Wendy at sales@porterfield-brakes.com ---
'Unfortunately we do not have a listing for the
2002 model Mercedes yet.'
All they need is an outline drawing of your pads........
Jerry at My Roadster.com can help you. He's managed to get Porterfields for us at the SLK board, even the new SLK 32's which are 2002 models.
The R4-S pads work very nicely with good braking and little dust. I'm picky too, I concours my SLK and autocross it as well.
