Hey you guys um,<br>I am seriously considering to buy a new car and one of my top choices is the new c- class. And I am wondering how is the space in the car. Is there enough, or are you barely making it in and out? I am 6 foot 1. I am wondering if I should really consider buying it or look at something else.<br>Thanks.<br>P.S. Can you please tell me the back seat space as well.
Jake:<br>I'm taller than you and have no problems whatsoever. Actually, I don't even need to put the seat back all the way. This is rare for me in any car, even an SUV, which I traded in on my C. As far as space goes, I'd say this: I think that calling the C a five passenger car is a slight stretch. It would work for a short trip across town, but I would not want to be one of the three in the back for a long road trip. That said, the backseat space is great.<br>Rex
I am 6'0", but sit up straight and tall and cannot comfortably sit in E-classes, C-classes, 3-or 5-series BMW's or A4's if they have a sunroof.<p>I just ordered a C without sunroof though and it's fine.<p>The A-6 and larger are OK with sunroof IMHO.
and I have no problem fitting in the C240, even with the sunroof. Even the back seat is comfortable for me, unless there is another 6 footer in the front seat, then it gets a little tight. However, it is likely that I will never, in the life of the car, ride in the back seat. We rarely have back seat passengers in general, other than our small child.<p>However, if you frequently carry back seat passengers, of varying sizes, I'd say that if you really want them to be comfortable, you should look at a bigger car.
