I have a 2006 C 230 Sport that just hit 60,000 miles. The service A dash light come on as well so I was wondering what would need to be done at 60,000 miles. I changed my oil when the service A showed up but I was wondering about timing chains, filters and so on. Also has any one done any interesting modifications that I should consider? I really like this car but it could be a bit quicker I think. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

the service booklet in the leather pouch will tell you what needs to be done. I don't think there's anything special at 60k. the timing chain should last life of car. there is an underdrive pulley available which will increase boost. other than there there's not much in the way of increasing power on these cars.
