Anyone have any links or experience in removing an M271 head?
How doable? - I have the Haynes manual but it is a bit unclear to me about removing the cam sprockets etc (also keeps bouncing from the M111 engine to the M271)
Thanks Sammy - I got the impression from the dealer that the 271 is a slightly more difficult proposition!
Thankfully, does not need to be done now (to remove the head of a screw that fell down the spark plug hole and noticed after starting!!!) - going to tell the details in a separate post -- pwhew! - dodged a $2000 bullet there!
