side marker light removal

hi
did a search but could find and tips on how to remove the side marker lights on the bumper, just got my clear ones, and wondering if there were any tricks etc

I don't recall exactly how to do it, but it's not hard because I accidentally popped one off when cleaning wax residue from around mine. I was using a small plastic wedge tool wrapped with a microfiber cloth and I pressed hard enough on one end or the other (the front, IIRC) and it popped right out. I popped it right back in, so it should be an easy swap.

I did mine. You have to insert a plastic or wooden edge in the front and push to the rear, then the front pops out.

Do the side marker light on a 1995 E 420 also pop out? thanks in advance for any comments, directions or help.

I just used a screw driver. It should pop out pretty easily. I pried mine out starting from the front on the light.
