So, I've been meaning to install a HID kit in my Merc for a while now. I saw this kit on ebay for the w203 C-Class. It comes with a HID kit and 6000k bulbs installed in w203 Projector headlights. I want the black headlights.
Anyway, does anyone have experience with this particular kit? Since it comes installed in w203 headlights, it's pretty much plug-n-play, which simplifies things if I want to go back to my original halogen projector headlight kit.
I don't know the manufacturer of the HID bulbs or ballasts.
I have ordered the exact same set of headlights. As I am from New Zealand, I sent the eBay auction to my mercedes mechanic (He works at mercedes and has always fixed my car)
He said that they look and sound fine and should work perfectly!
As the HID kit is under a one year warranty, any troubles have to be replaced by the seller
I know people on this forum believe ebay is selling cheap headlights and you should avoid them and buy OEM instead...butr for me OEM costs 700 US, which is alot for a 16 year old to spend on headlights
I think 300 US is a reasonable price, just my $0.02.

They are the ballasts, which are the things that cause the flickering and the error messages. I have never had tried any of these personally, but these are suppose to be one of the conversion kits that won't cause errors.
What does plug and play mean to you? You will have to remove the bumper cover to get to the screws to remove/install. There's a chance you will have to get your dealer to program the ecu for you to allow xenons (some kits claim you don't have to, this one does not make that claim, but it's ebay, take your chances, not the best customer service, he does have a 97% approval rating, that's says something, not sure what, but something).
