Not sure what an "iPod" cable is - the integration kit from MB is more than that. I'm almost 100% positive that the '07 AUXIN cable is identical to the '05-'07 versions. There seems to be a "intermediate" bit of wiring missing in some of the '07's - the trick is finding out what the MB part number is for that cable.
One way to accomplish this is to go to a friendly MB dealership as ask them to price adding the iPod integration kit, and getting them to list the parts needed. One of these will be the missing cable.

That's a good idea!
Wiring missing is very possible because it happened on my Mazda...
I spent a whole to find a fog light wiring...ended up the dealer said my VIN number is on the cut off! WASTE my time!
Actually, the same model year sometimes have different connector.
My 05' C230 has all audio plug combined together, while others 05' have seperate AUX connector.

'tis true, but as far as I know, all of the facelifted w203's (MOST as opposed to D2B) have the capacity to add AUXIN to the heads.
MB is famous for "changing" the "prewire" specs, but rarely changes the connectors - anything to shave $2.00 off the manufacturing costs! :P
