I set the air conditioner to "LO" and the fan blowing 3/4 of the way to full. After driving for about 5 minutes, it decides to shut off entirely. THen i have to turn it on again....this happens frequently. I set the fan to 1/4 of the way, same thing. The climate control works at whatever temperature i want. Don't know what the issue is, neither does the MB dealer? They had the car for 2 weeks and everything passed on the computer. It used to turn on by itself as well when i had it off. ANybody help??
If the car is on and you have the climate control on the a/c should adjust accordingly. As for turning on by itself, it might be a short in the wiring somewhere behind the console. Not too sure but never heard of this happening before.
